How to get an "email us" link in the right column?

  Ok…I’m new, but I’ve spent over and hour of precious time trying to figure this out. I have a new blog. I want a “Contact Us” email button in the right column. I also want a “Privacy Statement” that states that I will not share email addresses with anyone.

  Would one of you geniuses please send me a click by click solution?

  I can tell you how to do this but I don’t recommend post an email link at all. If you do post one then it will be harvested by spam bots that are specifically programmed to harvest email addresses for their spam masters, who sell it to even more spammers. To prevent that harvesting we have a contact form that you can post on a Contact Us page on your blog.
