how to get "apply all" tags to other sites on my next entry.

When I blogged about a hot dog restaurant and music/reading the rest, “tags” or key words or whatever they were popped up while I wrote and I clicked on “Apply All” and I got lots more traffic with those highlighted “tags” that took people to other sites.
How do I get that to happen again…the automatically highlighted words that take people places? I don’t know why it happened the first time and now need to know how to make it happen again. Help! And thanks:)
