How to get audio file names to appear through email upload?
-
I purchased the space upgrade to be able to add media files. But when I emailed in audio, the audio shows up, but every cut is titled “Track 1” instead of it’s actual title???

Ok, the meta title in the actual file is “Track 1,” did you export these from iTunes or someone else that would have saved the title in the file, perhaps after importing them from a CD?
-
These files were created and saved straight from audio editing software, Adobe Audition. Is it something I need to change in that program?
-
Yeah, make sure that the program is saving the titles as desired.
I don’t have any experience with Adobe Audition, but every audio editor I have used has had a way to designate the title.

After a little experimenting it turns out that it seems to only be having the issues with mp3 files.
-
Excellent, it might be something with how they’re saved.
I know that when I export MP3 files from Audacity, there’s a second step to enter the track’s name, artist, etc.
