How to get back the domain?

I recently purchased a domain and website here but then the same day i cancelled the subscription. Now i want my domain back. How to get this?

Since you canceled the domain within 24 hours of registration it will be released and become available for registration again within a week.

In order to use a domain with WordPress.com, you now must have a paid plan. However, you can purchase the personal plan as well which is not as expensive as the premium plan:

Same situation here. And I would like to buy a plan. btw, I can upgrade it later if I purchase a premium today right?
