How to get back to the original layout for posting?

  The site has suddenly “changed” and when I access my blog to post, I can’t find a way to get into the traditional page I was used to.
  And the page shows a funny “beep beep” while loading to this strange new layout.
  Please, can anyone tell me how to go back to what I was used to, so that I can post again?!

  You can go to WP-admin, and from there to Post->Add New to get the classic editor.

  Alternately, you can try this script. I haven’t analyzed it but someone who created it says it will force the Classic Editor every time. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-reinstate-the-option-of-choice-to-use-the-old-publishing-format/page/4?replies=402#post-2311725
