How to get blog posts to appear in categories?

  I need help with my blog.
  I am not sure of the proper wording for what I’m trying to figure out, so I apologize if something I type doesn’t make sense as I really have no idea what I’m doing.

  I have two posts so far. I have tried creating ‘pages’, which I am aware are supposed to be just for one specific thing (like writing about yourself or something)
  What I’m wondering is if there’s a way for me to create something similar to a page, or category and add my posts to it.
  So, for example, if I were to have a Home section, I’d like to add all of my blog posts about Home to it.
  Again, I’m not sure what I’m trying to do is called. I’m trying to figure it out.

  Hi,

  You can pick “categories” for all your posts so that all the similar or related pages can be under one category.

  To do this, please follow these steps …

  Select the blog you want to assign the category ->
  Click on the icon to edit the blog ->
  Then on the left side menu you will see “Categories and tags” ->
  If you click that it will give you option to add a new category or use an existing category to assign.
