How to get blog to appear on self hosted wordpress website

  Hello

  I have a self hosted wordpress site, but I can’t seem to get my blog to show up correctly. I have a home page and services page and have added what I thought was a blog page onto it. When I type “Welcome to my first blog”. This text appears on the banner and is the title of my blog. However, I want to banner just to read Blog and my title of my first blog to read “Welcome to my first blog”

  I have also tried to create a post through the dashboard. The post shows up OK on the dashboard, but the text does not appear on the website itself.

  The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.
