How to get blog's header image different from home page header image

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi all,
I’m using the Affinity theme for my blog and I can’t make the blog’s section header image to be different from the home page header image. If I change either of them it will change it in both sections. Is there any way I can have different header images for the home page and the blog’s page? Thanks in advance! Fernando.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

See the responses by myself and supernovia at your topic on the same issue, Changing the blog’s featured image.

Is there any way I can have different header images for the home page and the blog’s page?

It looks like you’ve resolved the issue. On the Affinity theme, the static front page (homepage) will display the site header, if one is set, unless a featured image is set. The blog page will not display a featured image (in the header area), even if one is set on the page. It will display the site header, if one is set.

In the other topic, supernovia says:

So yeah, you can change the blog image by setting the site header. You can make it different from other pages by setting featured images for those other pages.

    Hi,
Yes I was able to do it after I asked the question, when I followed your suggestions from last topic I couldn’t make it happen but then I went into the featured image setting for each page and it changed them.

Thank you so much for your support.

    Fernando.
