How to get database and data file of free WordPress blog?

  My hosting provider is asking for a database and data file(not .xml ) for hosting/transferring my free wordpress to a registered domain.
  How can I get a database and data file of my content?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey @voguechics

  You can’t export the entire database from WordPress.com but you can export your content to an .XML file.

  However, you can migrate your content even you have only the .XML file. You must talk with your hosting provider and tell them that you have only the XML file and you need :

  1. a clean WordPress installation on their servers.
  2. after that get the .XML file from WordPress.com and import it into your clean WordPress installation.
  3. After that, you just need to arrange the things as they was here at WordPress.com – but the content will be entirely migrated.
