How to get DNS information for my website provider.

    Hello,

I’m trying to unmask the domain name for my website. The website is http://www.binkyproductions.com. And at each page, the address bar shows the same name as opposed to /about or /services, etc.

I was told that it had to be done through the domain hosting. So I contacted the company that hosts my domain name. They got back to me saying I need to contact wordpress and get the DNS information that they can then use.

I searched on my site for anything remotely DNS related and I cannot find. I’m not very tech savvy when it comes to websites and hosting so this may be the cause, but any help will be greatly appreciated.

The hosting support tells me I need wordpress to provide me the exact DNS changes to apply through the hosting company.

I’m a bit confused so I apologize if my query is confusing.

Thank you for any and all assistance in advance.

What your domain host (OVH.com, I believe) is referring to, is that your domain’s name servers need to be set to WordPress’ name servers. These are:

    ns1.wordpress.org
    ns2.wordpress.org
    ns3.wordpress.org

Your domain host should be able to change that for you, if you don’t know it yourself.

You’ll also need to make some changes on your WordPress site — if you want your domain name to work properly with your site, you’ll need the Domain Mapping addon ($13/year). You can find that in the Store section of your WordPress dashboard.
