    Hi all,

    What can I do to get a Google search for

    dr helen sakho

    to get my wordpress, when currently, a search for

    helen sakho

    does, but when I add ‘dr’, nothing comes up on any google page?

    Thank you for your time.

    Google has a complicated algorithm to determine which sites to show on a given search. Here’s a basic breakdown of what Google looks for:

    More in your text – you have a long Post https://migrationstories.wordpress.com/2015/02/27/an-interview-with-dr-helen-sakho/ – replace some of the “she” with “Dr. Helen Sakho”

    Also I find that post also a bit hard to read -my opinion – a few more paragraphs or some white space

    You have a ton of scanned pages from a book or journal – is that your writing? If so make sure that you have “Dr. Helen Sakho” with a bit more text on every image – right now the images do you no good – no captions or anything – The down side to the captions with your name attached to them is folks will think you look like a page out of a book
