How to Get Google Analytics into Worpress.com Blog

    Hi,

    So I signed up for a worpress.com blog not realizing that you had to have a worpress.org blog to access plugins (google analytics specifically). What do I do now? The blog has already been launched and is out there, but I need to get google analytics into it.I’d also like to be able to mess around with some of the other plug ins. What do I do? Can I somehow upgrade to access the plugins without losing my blog or changing the site, etc???

    Can’t do Plug-in’s or GA here no matter what. You can build a .ORG install site, transfer your info into the .ORG install then change the Name-Servers to point to your new site.

    Hosting a .ORG install is more work especially when something breaks. There are lots of Widgets here in place of plug-in’s and you can get 3rd party tracking that does not do scrips, many to choose from.

    What specific functions are you looking for? Many ways to do many things here.
