How to get lines to skip/I followed Sacred Path’s earlier directions

  This is one of the posts that illustrates the problem I am having with skipping lines/leaving blank lines.

  I followed Sacred Path’s instructions of putting <p> before the paragraph and <p/> at the very end of the paragraph.
  This forces a line to be skipped.
  Then I typed <p><p/> on the next line, thinking that this would force this second line to skip.

  But that did not happen. I noticed a <Div> tag and I deleted it. That did not help.

  What am I doing wrong?
