how to get more “readers”?

Ok, the truth is I have only 2 posts in a week, but.. I have only 2 visitors too :((( How can I get more people into visiting my blog, not just reading it because its mabye bornig, but noone is even clicking :))))
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have the same kind of problem, and I still kind of do. I listed my blog in search directories, which has helped a little I think. Also, I reccomend adding the URL to the signature of your email, so every time you send an email, the bottom displays a link to your blog. Tell all your friends about it, use facebook and twitter to your advantage, and spread the word. Hope I helped.
PS I’d appreciate any feedback on my blog http://www.noignorance.wordpress.com it just started but I’m working on it and making sister blogs.

Also maybe spruce up the blog a little, add pictures and video, make a cool header, and create a poll asking readers what they want to see.

Okay Marie, first of all, I have to say that I like your blog very much. But first things first, you want to increase readership! Perhaps this will help. First thing that I would do is fine tune your blog a bit. I would make sure that I had content on those Widgets and go through the whole blog with a fine tooth comb and delete all of the information on it that didn’t come from you. For instance, the very first post is one we all get with our blog – the “Hello” post. In your dashboard, you should be able to go through every page, post and widget and do that fine tuning. Once you get the hang of it, it is a piece of cake. Second thing I have for you is Twitter. I would definitely get an account on Twitter and tweet your blog with link included in your tweets. Very easy to do – just copy and paste the URL address from your blog to your tweet. Also, to reach 1000’s more, try the right #hashtag. Here is the directory you can use to find a #hashtag that best suits your blog post subject – http://hashtags.org/tags. Be sure to check the actual #hashtags to make sure that they are still active and have plenty of people. Upon first tweet, check your blog stats in about ten minutes afterwards!
