How to get most recent posts page to display featured image

    I’m using the Dyad 2 theme, and all my pages and posts are working just as I hoped, except for the most recent blog posts page (which I’ve renamed to “stories”). I have a featured image set for it, but no matter what I do, when viewing the page, it just shows a blank black background.

    Is there some roundabout way to getting a featured image to show on this page? Or is it just not possible? Thanks for any help!

    Hi powerfulproject2!

    I replicated your concern on one of my testing sites. And I was successful in setting the header image to the page that displays all my blog posts.

    Below are the steps that I followed:

    1) Go to you site ‘https://thepowerfulproject345084727.wordpress.com’
    2) Make sure you are logged in to your WordPress account.
    3) On the left top, click on ‘My sites’
    4) Then click on ‘Customize’
    5) You’ll see your ‘stories’ page in the menu (I hope that appears in your menu, as I’m unable to view your site)
    6) Then on the dashboard, click on ‘Header image’
    7) By clicking on Add new image, assign the header image to that page
    8) You’ll see the header image now appears
    9) Click on ‘publish’

    Hi all, thanks for the help. So strange; on the homepage, if I set the header image it actually changed the nav bar…but now, it seems to be working the way I need it to for the blog posts page. Thank you so much for the help!
