how to get my blog domain name pointed to my wordpress blog name
-
I have bought a domain name ‘dodopadblog.com’ and I want poeple visiting/reading the blog to be able to just type in or click on dodopadblog.com rather than dodopad.wordpress.com.
The premium services page on wordpress tells me I need credits (or I can pay…) but I don’t seem to be able to find where to go or how to go about it. I have changed the nameserver records as shown (ns1, ns2, ns3 etc.) where I registed the domain name. What do I do now – just wait? From the blurb on the wordpress site I think I’m going to have to pay – HELP!!!! thx :)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Yes, you have to pay. Follow the instructions here:

thanks so much husdal – all sorted and simply too – if you fancy a little light amusement then log onto the blog: http://www.dodopadblog.com – at least I know it now works! Cheers, Lord Dodo

UPON migrating ur DN to WP – HOW do u HIDE their NARLY search bar for other blogs? < yuk > Anyone know? Its already a little FAIL that they don’t have direct customer service. (and they make it almost impossible to even PAY them!)

I’m not exactly clear about what your are asking. The wordpress.com navigation bar is not visible to your readers, unless they are also wordpress.com bloggers, and they are signed into wordpress.com
