How to get my domain name back ?

  Hi,

  I deleted my website “mirraelom2017.com” and i want to get the domain name back.
  I want to use the domain name on an another Web host (1&1).

  Can you do something for me please ?

  Hi tedead,

  I have restored the domain for you. The domain hadn’t been refunded yet so there won’t be any additional costs to pay.

  Your original site has been deleted so I have restored the domain to tomirraelom2017blog.wordpress.com.

  I want to use the domain name on an another Web host (1&1).

  There are two options here:

  1. Transfer the domain to 1&1:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/transfer-domain-registration/

  2. Keep the domain registered with WordPress.com and point the name servers to your 1&1 site:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/

  Let me know which option you would prefer.

  Thank you very much !!

  I rather transfer the domain to 1&1, i think it will be easier to manage if i have only one web host.

  So i choose the first option.

  Oh,

  I just saw that :

  Note: It is only possible to transfer a domain 60 days after the registration date. This 60 day lock is required by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and cannot be waived. More info here.

  and

  Once you initiate the transfer, there is a waiting period of five days.

  i can’t wait this long…

  So i’ll choose the second option.

  So i’ll choose the second option.

  It can take up to 72 hours for the name servers to fully updated once a change has been made. If domain isn’t working as expected just give it a little more time.

  i can’t wait this long…

  Today is day 60 so if you do decide to transfer the domain, you can do so at any time. You can also initiate the transfer after changing the name servers, so the domain will already be pointing to your new host.
