    To add a PDF file to your site, you first have to upload it to your media library. Then you add it to a post or page using the link of the file in the library.

    You have two options: You can use the File block to upload the file and just show a downloadable link in your post or page:

    Share or Embed Downloadable Files

    Or you can upload the file directly to the media library first, get the file URL, and add that in an embed block so the actual PDF document appears in your post/page:

    Are you speaking of https://garynoll.wordpress.com/? That site is already public, so Google and other search engines will automatically index it. All you need to do is continue publishing new content on the site, and the rest will happen automatically.

    Note that it can take a few weeks before your site will start appearing in search results.
