How to get my page to open up to another wensite thats not mine

  I’ve been trying and looking everywhere to understand how do I have one of my pages “shop” go to another webpage. what i would like is when someone click shop at the top on my home page that it will open directly to another website that isn’t wordpress or anything i have created? like going tdirectly to amazon for example. I tried adding a link and entered the webpage and nothing happened. Am i doing something wrong? could someone please give me step by step how to do this if possible?

  First off, you have to be somewhat careful with this sort of thing as it can be seen as “driving traffic to third party sites” which is against the terms of service here. This could be especially true if you have them in the top navigation on your site.

  I would suggest that you contact staff directly on this after they get back in the office on the 29th and give them an explanation and a link to the site you want as your “shop” tab on the top of your site and see what they say. They may say everything is OK, but it would be best to check just in case.

  Thank you i will contact them, i’m just confused b/c i have my pictured linked to my store where they can buy the outfit i was only trying to link my store which is on marketplace to my shop page where they can buy stuff. I do get their point specially if its sites like yahoo, google or amazon maybe that was a bad example to uses in my question, lol.

  Thank you for giving me the links to the terms they were very helpful. from what i see as long as i’m selling my products and they are my original product which they are I am allowed to post the link to where they can buy my product. I get where they are worried about Affiliate marketing blogs and that is not what I’m trying to do but i am thankful for you showing me the links and now i am clear. I apologize if i wasn’t clear on this.

  You can create a custom menu and include custom links in it.
