How to get only a snippet to show not full article

    When I do a search on my site, the search results show only a snippet of the larger article. It’s very nice. But when I click on a tag, it shows the full articles. Obviously, this makes it extremely cumbersome to find what you are looking for.

    Is there a solution?

    There are several ways of splitting content in posts and pages. The most common one is to insert “the more tag” into posts so only the beginnings appear on the front page followed by a read more link. Whether or not a theme displays post titles, beginnings of posts, thumnails, or full posts on the Tags pages, Categories pages and Archives pages is theme dependent. We cannot edit templates or themes so what’s coded in is what you get.
