How to get people to move beyond blog's home page?
-
Hi,
So I’ve noticed in the wordpress stats that most of my views are only restricted to the homepage. (Most views are from usa). Not going beyond the home page usually indicates that none of my articles are being read. Is there something wrong I am doing? Can someone advise me on how to get people to view my articles and not get stuck only on the home page? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi bernadettebraganza :)
I checked your blog and technically speaking, the set-up seemed fine (I clicked “Read more” and was directed to an article without issue).
It sounds like your problem could be described in Advertising terms; CTR (Click Through Rate).
“Click-through rate (CTR) is a way of measuring the success of an online advertising campaign for a particular website as well as the effectiveness of an email campaign by the number of users that clicked on a specific link.“
Meaning success can be defined by the amount people who click through your links. This amount can obviously increase or decrease depending on the type of blog you have.
I would start researching various sites that offer information on how to get users to read your content. Here’s a few links to get you started:
