How to get plugins?

No. Without you giving us the specific links, we’re not doing to dig around in the internet. You’ll be back on the computer eventually; until then, there is no point in us giving you the solution anyway. Once you are at the computer, give us the links.

I want to add social media buttons so people can contact me that way. I understand the directions, what I don’t understand is how to individuate the separate buttons when searching for them online. They are all sets; it’s just one file. When I go to save a Twitter button so I can go back to the Text widget it puts in the whole file.
This is the Rubicon for me: if somebody can help me and I can do this I will be off to the races. Sorry for the mixed metaphors. -
Hi there,
You already have sharing buttons below your posts. Click the post title and scroll to the bottom to locate them. This guide will walk you through how to add a horizontal line of social media buttons to your sidebar or footer, using whatever icons you prefer. http://en.support.wordpress.com/add-social-media-buttons-to-your-sidebar-or-footer/
You can use a free image editing program to isolate each icon if you have a set of them. http://en.support.wordpress.com/media/image-optimization/#image-editing-software

Thanks. I should be able to pull this off somehow. You are very kind. I’m going to work on something else for a few minutes and then I will attempt it again.

Well, the buttons at the bottom are .htm files that can’t be loaded in the Library. That means I now have to learn Picasa or something before I have to code, which the support page cheerily begins by saying is a simple two-step process. To that I say, No and no.
I’ll figure it out, but it is not simple, I’m sorry. -
Links do not work. I’ve done everything right. Just tested ptocess in an email. I am linking to tables at baseball-reference.com. Followed directions to a T. If I can do it in email why won’t same process work in a post?
It says web page unavailable, after it says “Oops, Windows can’t find http”. I can’t describe this right. My fears have all been confirmed about doing this.
