How to get post dates after import to self-hosted site

    I exported the content, which included hundreds of posts, from WordPress.com, and imported it into my self-hosted WordPress site. But now all the posts are showing the same date, which is the date I carried out the import.

    Wordpress.com suggested using Import External Images plugin, which is no longer available.

    What can I do next?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes
