how to get posts to appear on multiple pages

  Hey guys, I have seen multiple people do this but I just can’t figure it out. I know that there is a main page that all posts will appear on (on my site it is the heading “blog”), but I have seen people have their posts appear on the main page, and organized on separate “child pages” as well! For example, all posts appear on the main page then have child pages such as “thoughts”, “short stories”, and “poetry” to organize all posts in case someone is looking for something specific.
  At first I thought maybe they copied their posts to have on a separate page as well, but it looks like the post is just appearing on both pages. Is there a setting somewhere that I can do that?

  Below is an example of a static page URL.

  Study it closely and note that no static Page can automatically update.

  Study it closely please and note that only dynamic category pages can automatically update.

  Setting up a menu is easy as pie, provided you know the differences between Posts and Pages, and the differences between static Pages, (which will never automatically update) and dynamic Categories pages which will automatically update when you publish Posts with Categories assigned to them.
