How to get posts with marked categories to display on correct pages
-
Hi! I’m a little confused about the difference between WP admin and the other admin (which is blue and white). Anything you change on one should change on the other correct?
I had a different WP site before and never had the issue I’m having now. I have created pages and then each of my posts I marked in the category that I want it to be in i.e. the page I want it to be in. The pages display on my menu bar but the posts only show in ‘home’, and not in their correct pages categories.
How can I fix this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
You can’t add posts to a static page. Posts may be displayed on the posts page (default homepage), or on archives pages. To display posts in specific categories you’ll want to use Category Pages. Then create and activate a custom menu that includes links to your category pages. -
Thank you for your reply.
I tried to do as you said but my dashboard doesn’t look like the one that you linked to. I feel like it’s something really simple that I have to do but I just can’t figure it out!

I didn’t link to a dashboard. I provided links to two support pages.
Here are your category pages:
1. fashion — https://carmellarubin.wordpress.com/category/fashion/
2. life — https://carmellarubin.wordpress.com/category/life/
3. music — https://carmellarubin.wordpress.com/category/music/To create links to those in a menu, create a custom menu and include links to the category pages. You may also include links to your “Home” and “About” pages. Then activate the custom menu.
