How to get rid of ads

    When I signed up for the free site I didn’t realise there would be any further advertising except for the wordpress banner. Hence, when you had good deals for Black Friday and the next couple of weeks, I didn’t purchase a discounted plan. I planned to keep the free site for a year while I built up my writing. It seems now that I must purchase a plan to keep the ads away, which ruin the simple design and the intimate, somber aesthetic. Is there anyway you could offer me a good promo code to discount a plan? I feel I was misled, as I thought there would only be the wordpress banner visible, no ads.
