how to get rid of border on images

I’m using Matala theme and have purchased the customization option. I can’t figure out how to get rid of the gray border on the images I upload to posts. I don’t care on photos, but things that are cut out or my signature, it looks stupid. I’ve changed the border to zero or none everywhere I can find from the advanced image settings to the html and css. But nothing is making the border go away. There must be a way!

Will you please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog wearing the matala theme that you purchased the custom design upgrade for? Also note that we have only one Volunteer (thesacredpath) who regularly helps with CSS editing and he’s not available at this time. Please be patient while waiting for either him or Staff to help you. -
