How to get rid of Categories section from my blog, i don't need it.

  I want to get rid of the Categories section from my blog, but can’t figure it out and don’t know if it is an option. Thanks.

  You always need at least one category on a Wp.com blog. That’s almost the onlly difference between categories and tags on Wp.com.

  Just drag an empty text widget into your sidebar. The categories widget is most likely the default of your theme and will either disappear or you’ll be able to drag it out.
  Appearance—>Widgets—>drag.

  the OP is using only pages so she really does not need categories or a cat widget.
