How To Get Rid Of Excepts Below Photos On Grid Layout

  I am using the Motif Theme. I do not like the excerpts that show below the featured photos of my child pages in a grid page layout. I would like only the child page titles and featured photos to show. How do I do this?

  Hi there,

  The excerpts on the grid page layout are part of the Motif theme‘s design. The theme automatically pulls an excerpt from your page’s contents. You can customize that excerpt by adding your own excerpt to each page: Excerpts

  For example, you could just put a single space as the page excerpt — that way, no text will appear in the excerpt in the grid page layout.

  If you want to customize your theme’s design and remove those excerpts completely, you can use Custom CSS, part of the Custom Design upgrade. If you decide to go that route, we have some tips for getting started with CSS here:
