how to get rid of Home or fix it?

  My home page says there is nothing to see and I do not know how to fix it. I would like to have a welcome page of some sort/ home page…

  Make a post and publish it. Then it’ll show up on your home page.

  If you wish to have a static front page as a welcome page and compel every reader to have to click through it to find your most recent posts the instructions are found in the support documentation at http://en.support.wordpress.com
