How to get rid of "like" button registration.

    My friends and family can’t use the “like” button unless they are registered through wordpress. How can I get around this? This is stopping people from liking my posts. Thank you for your help!

    Hi there,

    Users will need to have a WordPress.com account setup in order for the WordPress.com Like button to work as that button is a WordPress ecosystem function. This is similar to how a Facebook Like button requires a Facebook account.

    Please note, this is completely different than the Facebook Like button (same label, different service). If you would like to enable the Facebook button, you can do so following the instructions here:

    Add Social Share Buttons

    Just choose “Official Button” under “Button Style”.
