how to get rid of old wordpress blog
-
I had a free wordpress blog years ago. Now I have a self hosted website through wordpress (I’m learning, but it’s still confusing to me), and sometimes when I log in through my new website/wp-admin, if I click on My Site, it takes me to the old blog. How do I get rid of it or disconnect it from my current account? I don’t understand how it is connected in the first place. My old blog is https://dreamchaserblogdotcom.wordpress.com/ and the new website is http://www.chaseyourownwaterfall.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Your new site is not connected to the WordPress.com account associated with your old bog (dreamchaserblogdotcom.wordpress.com). It is connected to another WordPress.com account and I don’t see how it’s possible to switch between the two. If you could send me a screenshot of what you see when you click on “My Sites” it would be really helpful. Here’s how to take a screenshot:

Somehow I would log into my current wordpress account, but if I would click on anything on the black wordpress header (my site, reader, my account…) it would go to that page in my old account. It doesn’t make any sense. But I finally figured out how to close my old account (and did a backup of my new, because I wasn’t sure how they were connected). It seems to have solved the issue. Thanks!
