How to get rid of space on home page
-
Hi,
I would like to get rid of the big white space on my home page. I can’t work out how to just have a blog feed there… I would prefer if the home page was just an about page..
Can you help?

There are two ways for you to change the content on your front page when using the Structure theme.
One option is to set a “Featured” blog post, along with a “Featured Image,” to fill the blank space at the top of the home page. To do this, choose a “Featured” category by going to your Dashboard -> Appearance -> Theme Options page.
Then, publish a new post using the category that you selected for “Featured” posts. You can also add a “Featured Image” via the Featured Image module that appears on the lower right-hand side of your Add New Post page.
Alternatively, you can set one of your pages, such as your “About” page, as your front page. For instructions on how to do this, please see:

The top left space in the Structure theme is reserved for the featured image post for the category or latest post you set on the theme options page. It’s part of the theme design to use it that way. If you don’t want to use that space, your best bet is to either use a static front page or look into the custom design upgrade to modify layout (i.e. hide the featured image block) by adding custom CSS. ify layout (i.e. hide the featured image block) by adding custom CSS.
