how to get rid of sponsored content

    Even though I pay for a wordpress page I now have ‘sponsored content’ attached. how do I get rid of it?

    Hi there,

    It is possible to block ads on your site by upgrading to any of our WordPress.com Plans, but that functionality is not present unless you have a plan active on the site. A standalone domain upgrade would not be sufficient to block sponsored content on your site in this case.

    You may wish to consider our Personal Plan, which is our lowest cost plan, and will turn off all ads we show on non-plan sites, as well as provide priority support with private email option.

    If you choose the annual option of any plan (instead of the monthly option) it includes a free domain for the first year. Since you have a domain already we are happy to make a pricing adjustment on our end so you do not pay full price.
