how to get rid of the comments on a gallery?

  How do I get rid of comments on a gallery when its in slideshow mode?

  Also, I’m not keen on the name of the file coming up either.

  This is for site:

  If you click on any image you’ll see what I mean.

  Hi there,

  So, in order to do this you would have to edit each image from Media > Library and change the comment setting for each one separately. So if you edit an image, make sure that the Discussion module is viewable under the image. If you don’t see it, go to Screen Options at the top and check off Discussion. Then uncheck Allow comments and Allow trackbacks and pingbacks on this page. Once that’s unchecked, click update. Do this for all the images in that Gallery.

  Then go back into that page and create a new Gallery with those images. Remove the previous Gallery and you should be set!
