Could you let me know how I can get rid of the ‘photobucket’ logo that marrs all my wordpress photos? Is there a way to do this that does not require monthly or otherwise significant payment to photobucket? If not, could you let me know how I can go about replacing these with pictures that don’t have a stamp that ruins completely ruins them?

Hi,
Wordpress does offer a free media library that you can find here.
https://wordpress.com/support/free-photo-library/This is a list where you can find free images to use.
https://wordpress.com/dailypost/2014/04/30/free-images/ Since that list is from the year 2014 I don’t know if all the sites listed still exist.I don’t know the answer to your question about Photobucket.
Maybe someone else will help answer.
I am a volunteer not a WordPress staff member.

You can’t use those Photobucket photos or whatever photo you can find on the internet, on your website. A copyright infringement can cost you a lot of money. I would suggest to remove all of those Photobucket photos asap.

Hi there,
If your site is hosted here on WordPress.com, we have a support guide that will help you find free images https://wordpress.com/support/add-media/finding-free-images-and-other-media/
We can’t help you with Photobucket here, but if you use their images, check their Terms of Service for their conditions. If you have other questions about photobucket, you’ll need to post your query to their support forums.
Post back to us here if you have other questions about WordPress.com
