How to get rid of the search box on the Imbalance 2 theme

  My theme is Imbalance 2. I would like to remove the search widget on the site because I am trying to give my site more of a “website” look than a blog look. I deleted the search widget in the dashboard but a search box remains on my site. How can I rid my site of it? Thanks.

  Hi again!

  The search box which appears in the Imbalance 2 theme is default if there are no widgets in the sidebar.

  You can get rid of it by inserting a text widget which has just a single space in it. That allows the theme to think that there’s a widget, but it doesn’t display anything!
