How to get rid of white box under blog title

  Wondering how to get rid of the white box that appears under the big bold title. Searched my code and tried deleting various things but to no avail.

  That’s the space for the site description in the Chunk theme. This should hide it:

  #site-description {
  display: none;
  }

  Note that you should remove that CSS if you want to add a site description (or tagline) from the main settings page at a later date.

  Thanks so much! You’re the answer to all my CSS problems. I looked and looked. Can’t believe it didn’t occur to me that that was the site description . . . THANKS!

  Any time!

  Try out the web inspector in your browser tools (Chrome or Safari or IE) or the Firebug add-on for Firefox. They let your right-click on items to see the related HTML and all the CSS rules that apply to the thing you right-clicked. Pretty nifty.
