  I started to sign up for a domain and then changed my mind. How do I get ride of it?

  The top level domain here is wordpress.com. All free hosted WordPress.com blogs are on .wordpress.com sub-domains.

  If you purchased a domain name via a domain mapping upgrade then what is the URL starting with http:// that you purchased please?

  Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, you can request a refund yourself directly from the Store section of your Dashboard
