How to get RSS Shortcode to work?

  Hi,

  I’m trying to insert an external RSS feed into a page using the shortcode provided here:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/rss-shortcode/

  I’ve verified my feed url is accurate; I can’t think of any other reason the shortcode isn’t pulling in the feed to my page. Am I missing something?

  I just created a page on my site to test the rss shortcode. This code given below works for me –

  [rss url=http://en.blog.wordpress.com/feed]

  Can you share the feed URL which you’re using?

  The wordpress blog example given isn’t even working for me. Is there another setting required to allow the shortcode to work?

  I notice you did not link your username to your site and failed to provide the URL for the site you are working on.

  What is the exact URL starting with http:// of the site you are working on please?
