How to get set up as a contributor to an account I have a personal account too

    Hello,
I currently have a free blog account that is active. I have been given permission to another account as a contributor. However, I am unable to access the contributing account.
    HelP!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi There,
Here is some information about what the role of Contributor is allowed to do, etc:
“A Contributor can create and edit only their own posts, but cannot publish them. When one of their posts is ready to be published, or has been revised, the Administrator needs to be notified personally by the Contributor to review it. Furthermore, once a Contributor’s post is approved and published by an Administrator, it can no longer be edited by the Contributor.

Contributors do not have the ability to upload files or images, but they can see your site’s stats.”

Is there an error of some kind when you either try to login, etc?
    Thanks

Thank you for your response. The issue that I am having is that I cannot get into the site that I am assigned to as a contributor. Any username or password we create does not work. But I can sign into my account just fine.

  • When they added you as a Contributor did you receive an email inviting you to accept that role?
Here is what I mean, this is what it should be like from their side:
