how to get stats on number of posts posted in one calendar year?

  How do I pull up statistics on the number of posts we made to our blog in 2013? I tried to search using 2013, but it pulled up posts from 2014 as well.

  Hi,

  Go to Dashboard > Stats, the click Summaries (at the top right corner) and that should give you a breakdown of your stats by year.

  You can’t directly get the number of Posts published for any given year.

  Only two options I can think of – use the archives short code to make a page that shows all your Posts – then count them on the Page

  Set the number of Posts shown in the Post editor to a number like 25 or 50 then count them by hand

  @auxclass. Thanks. I was just glad I’m enough of an e-mail packrat that I still had a link to one of mine sitting in my inbox. I wouldn’t have come up with the url without a reminder.
