How to get the TAB key to work?

  I’m a WordPress newbie. When adding new content or editing old, I can’t use the TAB key (or anything else) to indent the first line of a paragraph (as I can, say, in MS-Word). What am I doing wrong? Many thanks.

  There’s actually no option to indent your text, as browsers will strip out the excess spaces anyway.

  These days, a double space (like above) is more commonly used to denote a paragraph break.
