How to get to original Theme

I bought the CSS updgrade and did some experimenting. Fun! But now I want to use one of the themes and have it look exactly as shown without my CSS code screwing it up. How do I do that?

Delete everything from the CSS edit window, make sure “add to existing…” is selected and click save.

I bought the CSS upgrade and tried to copy and paste CSS from a free theme file and its not working. Please help! Im a newbie and would really appreciate it.

CSS is theme specific. You cannot apply the CSS from one theme to another. It – as you have found out – doesn’t work.
You have to learn CSS and then modify the CSS for the theme that you are using.

There are a good number of very nice skins for the Sandbox theme that can be found through a search on the internet for “sandbox skins”. They consist of a CSS file that you simply paste into the CSS edit box. You have to be careful though as a lot of the skins were developed for older versions of Sandbox and have not been updated. Also, there are wordpress.COM specific things that you are typically going to have to add to the Sandbox CSS skins you find out there on the internet since most of the skins were not designed specifically to work here.
