How to get widgets and reply box to only be on the blog page?

  How can I get the widgets and the “leave a reply” box to only show up on the blog page? Thanks.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That, strictly speaking, cannot be done since the Leave a Reply box never shows on the main blog page but only after you click to the specific post. You create a blank Page, set that as the landing page of the site on the Settings->General page of the dashboard, and then using the paid Custom Design Upgrade, remove the title.

  Why would ANYBODY want to reply to nothing but a bunch of widgets?

  I guess I should say: how do I remove the leave reply box from all pages and the widgets from all pages except the blog page?

  You Edit the pages and disallow comments in the tickbox below the Write Page box. For new ones, you change the global setting http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/

  As for where the widgets display, widgets now have visibility settings you can change http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibility and some themes display the sidebar only on teh blog page, or only on static pages.
