How to get widgets to appear on upper right side of page?
-
I’ve added some widgets to my wordpress page, but they are stuck at the very bottom of the page’s entirety. I want to get them to appear at the top of the page on the right side next to my most recent blog entry, though I have no idea how to. I’m a complete newbie at this stuff, so I will need slow and specific instructions on how to change it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Widgets appear only in sidebars and/or in footer areas for widgets and the theme used is relevant.
Optional Sidebar
You can add widgets to the Primary Sidebar from Customize → Widgets. If no widgets are added, Button automatically becomes a one-column, tumblelog-style theme. https://wordpress.com/themes/button/Note: Widget have visibility settings https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibility that determine which pages they display on.

I still don’t get it. For my Widgets page, it only says “Sidebar”. I don’t see one that says Primary Sidebar. I added the widgets for Top Posts & Pages, Follow Button, Follow Blog, and the Search bar. All of the widgets still keep appearing at the very bottom of the blog.
If the Button theme doesn’t allow a Primary Sidebar, which themes do?

I must be doing something wrong if the widgets I’m choosing are showing at the bottom of the page instead of the upper right side. I tried consulting this page (https://en.support.wordpress.com/html-troubleshooting/), which says if the sidebar has sunken to the bottom of the page, there might be some hidden codework on my posts that is interfering with the widget display. I looked at all my posts in HTML mode. I did find some random codework and deleted it, but my sidebar widgets are still at the bottom…

HI there,
Your site’s widgets appear on the side correctly as they should for me.
If you’re still seeing this problem, please try clearing your browser cache. If that doesn’t help, please give me a link to the exact page where you still see this happening.

I’ve cleared my cache and the sidebar is still not displaying properly for me. I cannot see the sidebar on the upper right side of https://justanervousgirl.wordpress.com/ and instead I keep seeing it at the very bottom of the page once I scroll past all my posts. I’m assuming the sidebar is supposed to appear on upper right hand side every page on my blog, including individual blog posts and the about me and contact pages. Every page I click on has the sidebar sitting at the very bottom of the page. :/

Here is what I see:

Are you on a computer or a tablet? If you’re viewing your site on a tablet or an otherwise small screen, the sidebar will appear at the bottom. This can also happen if you are viewing the page with your browser at a high zoom setting.

Thank you for mentioning the zoom thing. It seems my browser was set on high zoom and that’s why the sidebar wasn’t displaying properly. Thanks for helping me solve the issue!
