How to get WordPress 4

  I have the WordPress desktop application but it states that it is version 2. I’ve downloaded version 4 but it does not change my desktop application to the new version.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It’s a little confusing indeed. Although the current version of the actual application is 2.2.0, the version number of WordPress that it is showing, is 4.7.1.

  The application is bascially just a wrapper that can be used to maintain WordPress sites. These sites run on WordPress software, which is currently at 4.7.1.

  Hope that clear it up a little!

  While I have you on the line, can you help me load elegant themes to WP?
  I’ve watched their video but the option to add a new theme does not show up in WP Themes.
  I’m currently using Network Solutions as my ISP (host)

  Sorry but you are in the wrong place. These forums are only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  And you should ask in the WordPress.org forums.
  http://wordpress.org/support/

  If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums, you’ll need to register one there.
