how to go from one site to another
-
Hi,
I set up my wordpress site (see blog url below) some years ago, and another one recently. When I log into my account in order to post something on my new site, I always end up on the dashboard of my first one, and I cannot seem to find a way to add anything to my second one. Is this to do with the fact that I have used the same user name twice? Can I use my user name both times and still have two sites?
Many thanks and all best
tobiasThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, Tobias!
While being logged into your WordPress.com account, please navigate to – https://wordpress.com/sites
You should be able to see all of your sites there. Another method to view and switch sites is to click on Switch Site button at the top left corner of the My Sites page.
Also, you can have one WordPress.com username and many sites attached to it :)

Thank you, Dakisha, but that’s not what I meant. What you suggest is the way I should have done it. Instead, I created a second site using the same user name, and as a result, when I log in, I always end up in my first account – and on my first site. I thought about deleting the second site, and just starting anew the way you described it, but then I risk deleting my entire account. Plus the domain I used for the second site will be gone, right? Thank you so much for helping me out.

Hm, if the second site is under the same username, both sites are then attached to one account.
When you log into your WordPress.com account and use the method I described above, you should be able to select the site you wish to be displayed first when you log in. Afterwards, when you log out and log in, it will always be displayed first.
I am not sure if I understood the problem properly and if I didn’t, forgive me! And please provide me with more details (screenshots if possible) and I’ll do my best to help. Cheers :)
And if you choose to delete a site, that domain (the WordPress.com address) will be gone.

Trying adding /wp-admin at the end of your URL. That should get you to your website dashboard. So for instance if you want to get to the admin dashboard of ideeamerika.wordpress.com/, you just go to:
ideeamerika.wordpress.com/wp-admin

Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.
Clicking this link should display all blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf the log-in information is lost visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If you are not successful gaining access to the blog then please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.
