how to go to wp-content/themes folder to activate theme which i purchased.

recently purchased theme”anan”from theme forest.when i downloaded it ended up a broken theme,their support e mailed me to go to wp-content/themes folder and download the theme directly there so the wordpress will see it and able to open it.need help to access the folder to finish uploading the theme.they say it is a common problem.thank you.

I’m sorry, but themes can’t be uploaded to WordPress.com. That’s a feature of self-hosted blogs through WordPress.org. You may use any of the available themes we have under Appearance > Themes in your dashboard, and you may want to look into purchasing the Custom Design Upgrade to customize one of the themes we offer.

i really do not understand it at all,seems to be everybody else can download theme into word press from other designers.like a book i purchased,by rafael concepcion it explains how to download word press and than how to download purchased theme.looks like working for some i guess!!does anybody has a problem like i have??with broken themes?looks like a common problem according to theme forest people whom i purchased the theme.may be there is another way to install it.if themes can’t be uploaded to wordpress.com why are they selling them?.i am really confused.need help.anybody out there???

To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
WordPress.org has complete support and documentation sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress via their Codex and Support Forums.
