how to have a blog and a web site

i have created a blog and really enjoy it, but have tried to create a web page throw wordpress as well, i have got a domain name and paid for it, but i am not able to access the web page at all, as when i type in the domain name it takes me straight to my blog, so how do i have a blog and a web page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you looking to create a site which is totally separate from your blog? If so, you would just need to create a new blog by following the help article right here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/create-a-blog/#adding-new-blog-to-an-existing-account
Once that new blog is created, I can move your domain over to the new one and you’ll be off and running!

Could you break it down explicitly for me? You want your domain to be attached to which blog name (and could you use the URL? As in [blogname].wordpress.com).
It’s just for the sake of being official. I appreciate it!

http://silkacorbett.wordpress.com/ this blog is the one i would like my domain name “silkasark.com” to be attached to, not the blog it is attach to now. the old address for the one my domail name is attached to is corbettsilka.wordpress.com i want to keep that one just a blog. were the other one i would like to be a web page.
